Resilience – Local Governments to Local Residents
After Hurricane Gustav made landfall in the State of Louisiana, O'Brien's hired and trained over 1,500 local residents to monitor the removal of over 3 million cubic yards of debris under competitively bid contract. This type of approach to recovery has played a critical role to the resilience of the impacted region as well as the individual residents who live there.
